Battery trickle charger / maintainer

Can anyone help ?

I have bought my mh900e, it is one of the last with just 90km on the clock. Can anyone recommend a battery maintainer/ charger and do I need two ?

Hi, congrats on your purchase and with so few miles - wow. For the batteries I use a CTEK MXS5.0 - great unit - which also has some handy accessories. You only need one charger assuming you have two batteries fitted as I do (they are connected in parallel). I had to replace the batteries in my bike when I got it as one battery was a duffer really (after 11 years only to be expected). The other one I saved with the program facilities within the CTEK unit. There are other conditioners out there but I think the CTEK has a very good reputation. You will have to replace the flying leads from the battery to suit the CTEK. To be honest the twin batteries are a pita to access. Just be careful you don't short anything when fitting the leads. Have fun.
