Electrical / Re: Dashed for odometer reading ???

The dashes are indeed poorly made for resistance to water.  They don't seal well and the electronics inside are vulnerable to water damage.  I carried a plastic bag inside the tool compartment at all times in case it rained while riding the bike, as I know a half dozen riders who lost dashes while riding.

One Bimota model used the same dash but without the chrome bezel, in case you're shopping.  Doesn't it seem odd to look for the more common Bimota part?  :)

Outside that you're down to a non OEM instrument cluster if you like functioning instruments.

In the MHe Maintenance Manual they're at the end of the Frame Section for the frame (Section E) and the end of the Motor Section for the motor (Section F).

Chain Adjusting Eccentric Screw is what you're looking for.  They're to be tightened to 70 Nm (52 lb*ft) after greasing them.  Tighten one screw, then the other, then the first one again (1-2-1 in Ducati terminology).  This is a steel swingarm rather than the aluminum unit used on 916.

I'm interested in installing a larger rear sprocket (+ 1T or +2T or +3T) and I cannot find what I'm looking for online.
Does the MH share a common rear sprocket with other Ducatis?...if so, which ones?
Or does anyone have a link where I may purchase a larger rear MH sprocket?
Thanks muchly.
Don R.

Any Ducati with the smaller single sided swingarm system will use the same sprocket.  916 series bikes, various Monsters, 848, and others.

Bike is sold (on consignment) in standard trim apparently to a Swedish dentist.
I've got a few bits for sale which I'm sure will be of interest, but I'm abroad now for a while so will list on my return.

I have a cover for sale on ebay, and more parts coming soon. I have decided to sell up all my parts and also the bike eventually.
I will be listing them here as well as the facebook group prior to the ebay listings.

I need to replace the bar ends on my MH900e and don't know how to remove the existing aluminum (press-fit) ones without damaging them. Any suggestions? I don't want to use grips or tools that will leave marks on the discontinued polished bar ends

There was a group buy a few years back, of T-shirts & hoodies with the original graphics, made with bike serial numbers (e.g. 1999/2000) - can't remember who organized it but it was very well done, probably be easy enough to get covers printed in the same way. maybe some other forum members out there remember & partook in the T-shirt deal, and still have the contact details of who to contact. I would be keen for a cover if we can get it happening (gotta be easier than a steering damper!!!)
